License and citizenship acts
In 2018, Maritime Regions Services delivered 1898 police leave, 397 leave and 119 acts of citizenship, and renewed 1648 police leave, 659
leave and 88 acts of citizenship.
The maritime regions of Monastir and Djerba are the main regions that issued these acts with respective rates of 27% and 20%.
Transfer of ownership
During 2018, the number of property transfer operations was in the order of 2554 operations against 2272 operations carried out last year,
an increase of 12%
Change of weapon types
The services of the maritime regions recorded 62 weapons type of change operations. Tunis region has the largest number of these opera-
tions (55 operations) with a rate of 89%.
Maritime mortgages
During 2018, 175 ship mortgage folders were processed by the merchant marine services, mainly in the region of Sfax (63 folders of
mortgages) and in the region of Monastir (40 folders of mortgages).
Security of ships and nautical bases
Ship safety visits
During 2018, 17257 visits were made as follows:
162 commissioning visits
6985 periodic visits
9221 unique visits
862 dry visits
25 outbound tours
The number of visits was recorded mainly in the maritime regions of Tunis, Monastir and Sfax.
Activity of the nautical bases
The number of active nautical bases on the coast amounts to 182 bases, most of which depend on the maritime regions of Djerba (36%)
and Tunis (27%).

Accidents and Incidents
23 accidents were registered during 2018, among which 7 accidents were registered in the maritime region of Tunis.

In 2018, 52 seizures of ships were made as fellow:
